Please join us in welcoming our new Customer Service Specialist, Derrick Rivers to the Integrated Diabetes Services clinical team.
As part of our commitment to providing outstanding customer service as well as outstanding patient care, Integrated Diabetes Services has found the perfect complement to our top-notch office staff. Philadelphia native Derrick Rivers joins us after many years working in various customer support and administrative roles. His primary responsibilities at IDS include scheduling, correspondence, and addressing clients’ questions and needs.
“My brother has diabetes, so I’m excited about the opportunity to help others who are fighting this condition,” said Derrick. “This is the ideal place for me to be my friendly self and make a real difference.”
Derrick served in the Army Reserve for more than eight years and reached the rank of sergeant. He is a graduate of the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, with a focus on graphic design and illustration. He is a big fan of Marvel comics and still dabbles in superhero comic book illustration.
A proud father of a daughter who recently graduated from high school, Derrick enjoys bowling and working out at the gym. His claim to fame: his buddies at the Philadelphia High School of Creative and Performing Arts included the original members of the band Boys 2 Men. Whether Derrick has any singing skills remains a mystery.
