(still) WANTED: Old Medtronic Pumps & Supplies
You may have heard that some IDS clinicians are using do-it-yourself hybrid closed-loop systems. We’re not alone: many of our patients are giving these systems a try. In fact, we’re now coaching people through the setup of these systems, and many are experiencing the best blood sugar control of their diabetes lives.
The biggest challenge we now face is in finding suitable insulin pumps that work with these systems. If you happen to have an old Medtronic pump in any condition, consider donating it to our office.
Specifically, we’re looking for Medtronic Paradigm pumps manufactured between 2006 and 2012 with the following model numbers:
- 515 or 715
- 522 or 722
- 523 or 723
- 554 or 754
(the model number can be found on the back of the pump, after the letters MMT-).
Of course, if you also have extra supplies (reservoirs, infusion sets), those would be appreciated as well. If you like, we will reimburse you for the shipping.
Please ship to:
Integrated Diabetes Services

Suite 204

USA
Thank you!!!
Are you in need of minimed 551 pumps? Or minimed mio advance infusion sets or reservoirs?
Unfortunately we are not able to accept medtronic donations at this time. we recommend contacting your local JDRF chapter.
Do you have any broken Medtronic pumps that you’d be willing to let me have for a really low price? I’m looking for something I can take apart and reverse engineer for the purpose of making a DIY pump. Not looking for anything that works or still has some serviceability.
Hi Edward,
Shoot us an email at info@integrateddiabetes.com and we can forward it on for more information.
I have a brand new Medtronic miniMed 630G never used still in box
HI Dennis,
I would recommend going online to connect with a member of the diabetes community to donate your pump to. The Diabetes App is a great place to do that!

Hi Katari,
We accept donations of some supplies and insulin pumps but do not purchase either. You might want to try an app or site like Help Around.
