Who Won the Diabetes March Madness Bracket? … Juicebox Takes the Tourney!
After three arduous weeks of competition to find the best thing in the world of diabetes, the winner has been determined. Deemed the “Diabetes March Madness Bracket” by Chief Diabracketologist Gary Scheiner, the tournament started with 64 contestants, grouped into four categories: Medication, Media, Technology, and Lifestyle. The “Final Four” consisted of gummies for treating lows, the Juicebox Podcast, Dexcom’s G6 CGM, and getting a good night’s sleep. And the final winner is… The Juicebox Podcast!
Congratulations to Juicebox Podcast founder Scott Benner. He started the program as a simple blog back in 2006 shortly after his daughter Arden was diagnosed with T1D. Since then, it has grown into a multi-dimensional stream of resources for the diabetes community. And it’s all 100% free to access. Visit https://www.juiceboxpodcast.com for details about everything that is offered. The primary feature, the podcasts themselves, cover a very wide variety of topics organized by category. There are more than 600 to choose from!
While you’re there, be sure to check out the Type-1 Pro-Tip Series, co-hosted by Integrated Diabetes Services’ own Jenny Smith, RD, LD, CDCES. This series goes in-depth on many topics of interest to those living with T1D.
Again, congratulations to Scott and everyone else at The Juicebox Podcast.
