Type 1 Diabetes Youth Basketball Camp: Week-Long Overnight Event
Registration is now OPEN for Camp Bru — a week-long overnight basketball camp for youth with Type 1 Diabetes ages 10-17. The camp will be held in New Hampshire the week of August 4-9, 2024.
Jake Brudish — Camp Bru co-founder — was diagnosed with T1D at fifteen months of age in 1995. He thrived in high school basketball, went on to play Division I in college, and coached at the collegiate level for over 6 years.
Jake attended camps that gave him a sense of belonging and allowed him to learn life lessons while having fun playing basketball. He and his father Stan now want to give back.
Their goal is to unite their campers through the game of basketball and empower them on their journey living with T1D.
