Diabetes doesn’t come with a lot of payoff, but it can help you pay for school!

As we turn the calendar, high school students turn ages toward college applications and decisions. As those decisions are being made, don’t forget the available scholarship options.

There are many scholarships available through the Diabetes Scholarship Foundation. A single application process allows students to apply for dozens different scholarship opportunities ranging from $1000-5000.

Who is Eligible?

These are open to high school students with type 1 diabetes who are incoming freshmen of a 4 year higher education program. (US citizens or permanent residents only)

Type 1 diabetes comes with many challenges and struggles, but it also gives us a special skill set and develops many strengths. This program is designed to give students a leg up in heading to college with Type 1.
