Have you heard about the Dario Blood Glucose Management System?

It’s a compact, all-in-one glucose meter paired with a mobile app for efficient glucose management.  It actually lets you test your glucose levels on your smartphone!  The device contains a built-in lancing device, test strip holder, and a component that turns your smartphone into a blood glucose meter by plugging into the audio jack on the phone.  As if that’s not enough, it has some of the best accuracy ratings of any meter on the market.  The Dario connects to your mobile device and logs your blood glucose (BG) readings automatically.  Results can be shared with caregivers and doctors .  Since the power comes from your smartphone, this thing doesn’t even need batteries!

New Features:

Now a good thing is about to get even better.  DarioHealth has a new version of their app, Version 3.4.0, ready, and it will soon be fully available.

There are four new features to the app:

  1. The first new feature is the Dario News Feed; it is now integrated into the app to keep users informed while they’re on the go.
  2. Second, when you open the app, you will see your last BG result displayed.
  3. Third, when you open the new version of the app, access to your logbook is right there.  All you have to do is tap on the “In Range” chart and the logbook appears.  Tap on “average blood glucose” to get your statistics.
  4. Last, an extended logbook provides more insight into your numbers, with up to 360 days worth of information.

Good stuff!
