Get On Your Bikes And Ride!
JDRF Ride To Cure Diabetes 2017 Ready to Roll

As we embrace the start of a new year, we also celebrate the return of JDRFs Ride to Cure Diabetes program!  In 2017, join us in pedaling forward towards finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

The JDRF Ride to Cure Diabetes isn’t just a bike ride: it’s where hundreds of riders come together from all over the world to make new friendships, experience the unparalleled camaraderie of the Ride community and raise money to find a cure for T1D.  They give cyclists an opportunity to participate in specially-selected destination rides around the country. They offer the chance for novice to advanced cyclists to experience different terrains, take in the beautiful scenery, and have lots of fun.

In 2016, nearly 2000 riders from all over the country raised over $8 million dollars.  The folks at JDRF are hoping to top that mark this year by expanding the number of ride sites from three to five: LaCrosse, WI; Loveland, CO; Saratoga Springs, NY; Amelia Island, FL; and Tucson, AZ.

Where can i ride?

La Crosse, Wisconsin  (August 10-13)

One of the flatter courses, with lengths ranging from 20 to 100 miles.  Ride south through Minnesota and Iowa with the Mississippi River on your left and stunning Midwest plains on your right.

Loveland, Colorado (August 24 – 27)

Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Northern Colorado just 45 minutes north of Denver, with multiple route options ranging from 32 to 100 miles of rolling hills and scenic views!

Saratoga Springs, NY  (September 14 – 17)

Located 25 miles north of Albany, NY, with multiple route options ranging from 32 to 100 miles.  Enjoy some of the most scenic roads in the northeast just as the fall foliage begins to turn.

Amelia Island, Florida  (October 5-8)

Flat roads, Spanish Moss and ocean views are just a few of the highlights that will welcome riders to this beautiful location.  Multiple route options will be available for riders of all abilities.

Tucson, Arizona  (November 16-19)

our course options (40, 55, 75 and 104 miles) take riders alongside Tucson’s beautiful mountain vistas through the Sonoran Desert, home to countless giant saguaro cacti.
