IDS Diabetes Survey: May 2026

IDS Monthly Diabetes Survey Question

LAST MONTH’S SURVEY QUESTION:

In last month’s edition of Diabetes Bites, we asked for your opinion on the use of vaccines for preventing major illnesses.

Here’s how you responded:
  • 15% I don’t trust vaccines and avoid them at all costs.

  • 8% I’m skeptical, but take them if required to do so.

  • 12% I generally trust them, but worry about the long-term effects.

  • 65% I trust them completely and take them without hesitation

We are delighted to see that the majority of our readers view vaccinations in a positive way.  Vaccinations are studied and tested rigorously prior to being made available, with research results published in quality peer-reviewed journals. Please reach out to our clinical team if you have questions about the safety and efficacy of any vaccine.
