In last month’s edition of Diabetes Bites, we asked, “Which do you consider the MOST important advantage associated with effective glucose management?”
Here’s what you had to say:
64% Prevention of long-term health problems
15% Performing/feeling better physically
2% Better intellectual performance
1% Emotional health/stability
12% Better quality sleep and more energy
6% Getting others off your back (less advice, etc.)
Interesting that nearly two-thirds of respondents remain committed to glucose management for prevention of long-term health problems, while just over one-third are more focused on short-term/immediate gains.
