In last month’s edition of Diabetes Bites, we asked how costs are affecting your ability to take care of your diabetes.
Here’s how you responded:
- 43% Not at all. My insurance is affordable and it covers just about
everything I need. - 38% A little bit. As long as I stay in-network, things are generally OK.
- 18% Modestly. Insurance and out-of-pocket expenses are taking up a big chunk of my budget.
- 1% A great deal. I often have to make sacrifices to get what I
need. - 0% It’s a dumpster fire. I simply can’t afford to take care of
myself the way I want.
