IDS Announces New Weight Management Service
The Thanksgiving leftovers have finally been “put away”. Holiday cookies (and latkes) abound. Seems like there’s little more to do than sit around watching “It’s A Wonderful Life” for the 38th time. What’s it all add up to? You guessed it. Added you.
Losing weight is challenging for everyone. But for people with diabetes, especially those who take insulin, it can seem nearly impossible. Trying to manage glucose levels while shedding pounds takes a concerted effort and guidance from skilled, experienced professionals.
Just in time for the New Year, Integrated Diabetes Services announces a new Weight Management Program, available on a virtual basis.
It starts with an initial wellness consultation so that we can understand your background, needs/interests, and personality. We will work with you to refine your goals and design a customized program to help you get there.
But we don’t stop there.
Three months of ongoing support and guidance is also available to you. We’ll provide frequent touch points and coaching in areas of interest to you – such as glucose regulation, meal planning, physical activity, stress reduction, and building a healthy relationship with food.
All services are provided by Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists who live with diabetes personally and have specialized expertise in weight management.
