Last month we asked which of the 14 courses at Type-1 University has enjoyed the highest level of enrollment.
CONGRATS: Jess, a T1 pump/CGM user from California, for being the first with the correct answer!
ANSWER: “Weight Loss for Insulin Users” led by IDS’s own Dana Roseman. This course barely beat out “Advanced Carb Counting & Glycemic Index” for the top spot with 164 enrollments to date. Jess plans to use her prize to watch the course on “Managing Glucose During Sports & Exercise.”
There is no doubt that diabetes self-management education provides valuable returns for people with diabetes and society as a whole. Unfortunately, it has never been considered a “revenue source” for healthcare systems. IN WHAT YEAR WAS INTEGRATED DIABETES SERVICES FOUNDED?
*The first person with the correct answer wins complimentary tuition to the Type-1 University course of their choice!
