IDS Monthly Survey: February 2022
LAST MONTH’S SURVEY QUESTION:
In the January edition of Diabetes Bites, we asked who you trust most when it comes to advice about your diabetes care. There were 135 responses. Here’s what you had to say:
6% My primary care doctor. They take care of all of my medical needs and know me best.
0% My doctor’s nurse or physician’s assistant. They are best suited for answering my questions.
34% My endocrinologist. They specialize in diabetes and have the most training in the field.
60% My certified diabetes care & education specialist. They deal with the practical aspects of living with diabetes.
The results may have been skewed a bit since so many readers work with our practice, but it is still nice to know that so many people have considerable faith in their CDCES.
THIS MONTH’S NEW SURVEY QUESTION:
COVID has affected the diabetes world in far-reaching ways, from serious health complications to elevated glucose to an increase in new cases of T1D. Given the many benefits and minimal risks associated with immunization, we encourage all of our clients to receive a full battery of vaccines and boosters. What is your state of COVID vaccination?
