In January’s issue of Diabetes Bites, we asked for your opinion on whether or not Diabetes Bites is an appropriate venue for political commentary. The majority of respondents feel that some political discourse is fine, but we shouldn’t get too carried away.
In January’s issue of Diabetes Bites, we asked for your opinion on whether or not Diabetes Bites is an appropriate venue for political commentary. The majority of respondents feel that some political discourse is fine, but we shouldn’t get too carried away.- 19% No political comments! Health care and politics should never mix.
- 66% An occasional political comment is fine, but please keep it limited.
- 3% Political comments are OK, as long as they agree with my own politics.
- 12% Fire away! There should be more political discussion here.
THIS MONTH’S NEW SURVEY QUESTION:
Being connected to diabetes both personally and professionally, we at IDS feel strongly about volunteering in the diabetes community. Given that nonprofits have taken a major hit during the pandemic, our commitment is stronger than ever. We would like to know, where do you most recommend donating your time, energy and resources?
