In the latest edition of “Think Like A Pancreas,” I placed major emphasis on the notion that successful diabetes management requires the right tools, essential skills, and a positive attitude.

To that end, I am excited to announce the launching of “Think Like A Pancreas:  The Podcast” – Integrated Diabetes Services’ foray into the world of social media communication.

Trust me, this isn’t just another podcast designed to serve as a soapbox for ranting & raving.  You’ll hear plenty of opinions, but within the context of an informative and highly entertaining format.

Each 20-40 minute show will feature me and a special guest, often another of our talented IDS clinicians, who can shed light on a topic that is of strong interest within the diabetes community, such as:

• • • Which automated insulin delivery system is best?
    • Are low carb diets good or evil?
    • Is there such a thing as managing diabetes too well?

Since there are no simple answers to questions like these, I plan to (respectfully) challenge our guest experts.  Because we are not obligated to any company or organization, we won’t hold anything back.  We’ll dig deeply into the topics and relate them to everyday life – with a touch of humor to make it fun listening.
