Celeriac Fries (Crispy Celery Root Fries)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 celeriac (cut into thin fries)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

          DIRECTIONS:

            • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees with a baking dish in the oven. This helps the fries to crisp up.

            • Toss the celeriac with olive oil, paprika, salt, and pepper.

            • Carefully open the oven and spread the celeriac out on the baking sheet, trying to make one flat layer so everything has room to crisp up.

            • Bake for 20-30 minutes (depending on thickness). Shake the baking dish a few times during baking.
