Looking to increase your physical activity with a trainer who knows diabetes and lives with it too?
Kathryn holds bi-weekly group exercise classes on Wednesdays and Fridays at 6 pm Eastern Time. The workout is sent 24 hours in advance so you can make adjustments to stay in your target glucose range as needed. Kathryn holds a Masters degree in Sport and Exercise Science, is a certified clinical exercise physiologist, a personal trainer, and a person that has lived with type 1 diabetes for 12 years.
In addition to classes, we will begin posting some of the workouts on our youtube page here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnkKxI36AaLS9zD3HR9Lpxw for those that are unable to attend. With these, you’ll miss the experience of working with other people with diabetes and management tips to stay in your target glucose range but still get a great workout!

Kathryn received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Ave Maria University in Florida and a Master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology from West Chester University in Pennsylvania. She is Certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as well as the International Sports Science Association.
