The 4th Annual People of Color Living with Diabetes Summit: Diverse Resources for a Diverse Community
Organized by Diversity in Diabetes, the People of Color Living with Diabetes (POCLWD) Summit was the first and continues to be the only event of its kind centered on the lived experiences of people of color living with diabetes. This annual event brings together individuals, caregivers, advocates, and healthcare professionals to explore topics that matter most—mental health, financial wellness, diabetes technology, cultural influences, and health equity—through a lens that acknowledges the unique challenges and strengths within our communities.
Now in its fourth year, the 2025 Summit takes place November 14–15 in a hybrid format, featuring virtual access and an in-person watch party in Phoenix, Arizona.
Attendees can expect powerful sessions (including one on AID technology presented by Gary Scheiner), authentic connections, and practical resources designed to inform and empower. Whether joining online or in person, participants will gain valuable insights and a deeper sense of community rooted in shared experience and support.
And best of all, the summit is completely free! Visit the link below to learn more!
