TRIVIA TIME!

Congratulations to Patrick Brady, an architect from Arlington, VA who has lived with type-1 for 30 years.  Patrick was first to answer last month’s trivia question:  What is the enzyme called that promotes rapid uptake of glucose by muscle cells during exercise?

Answer:  GLUT-4.  I suppose that when the butt muscles are involved, it’s called “gluteus-4.”  (just kidding)

Answer our type 1 diabetes trivia question and win a free book!

NEW QUESTION:
