If you’re an adult Type 1 athlete and you’re up for an extreme weekend, be sure to set aside May 5-7, 2017.

Interested in getting help with optimizing athletic performance in exercise? Look no further. Diabetes Exercise and Sports Association is running a three day program at the North Bay Adventure Camp in Northeast Maryland, on the edge of the Chesapeake Bay. This unique and dynamic retreat will focus on strategies used by other Type 1 athletes who are there to participate and share their knowledge. You’ll learn the complex strategies of managing blood glucose levels before, during and after activity/training/competition.
